개요
케이론 (Chiron) 또는 치론은 G형 주계열성인 리길과 K형 주계열성인 톨리만으로 구성된 쌍성계이다. 관점에 따라 프록시마를 케이론 성계의 세 번째 항성으로 보기도 하고, 그냥 지나가는 별로 보기도 한다.
케이론계는 지구연방공화국이 프록시마에 이어 두 번째로 개척한 외계 항성계이다.
